The recent floods have impacted so many communities and women are often flat out supporting everyone else at this time but putting their own needs last.
As women supporting women, we have launched Knickers with Notes! A project by women for women who have lost their homes in the floods.
We invite women to buy a new pack of women’s undies and send them to us, (with a supportive encouraging note for the recipient if you would like to write one), and we will distribute them to flood recovery centres.
Donations must be new with the size label still attached so the recipient can choose the correct size for her. We will package them in plastic bags and include a kind note for the recipient to read and know she is being supported at this time.
