OWN Qld Annual General Meeting

Arrangements for the Annual General Meeting of the Older Women’s Network Qld are as follows:

DATE AND TIME:  Thursday October 7th 2021, 1.30 pm

VENUE:  New Farm Neighbourhood Centre, 967 Brunswick St New Farm, 1.30 pm in the Grand Room. There is a ramp into the venue, no stairs need to be accessed.  Street parking only.

RSVP:  If you plan to attend in person, please RSVP by 30th September as there is a maximum of 28 people who can attend in person.   You must be a current financial member to vote at the AGM.

AFTERNOON TEA:  Afternoon tea will be served, so please advise any special dietary requirements when you RSVP. Convenors are encouraged to attend if possible, and members are welcome too.

ZOOM:  The AGM will also be offered by Zoom for members who cannot, or prefer not to, attend in person. David Cameron has offered to bring special equipment on loan from Picabeen Community Centre (thank you Picabeen) which will provide a good-quality Zoom session. David will set up and operate the equipment as well as take photos.

Branches are encouraged to organise gatherings where members not attending in person can participate by Zoom in one place together (that way if a vote is needed it will be much easier to count, also makes it more of an occasion for those members).

The OWN Qld office has emailed out the Zoom meeting details to Branch Convenors, to pass on to their members.
