Queensland Women’s Week 6-15th March

Queensland Women’s Week 2020 celebrations will be held from 6 to 15 March with the theme Celebrating our diverse community of strong women.  The theme highlights the diversity of women in Queensland and aims to empower and inspire Queensland women and girls to embrace and celebrate their unique qualities and experiences.Recognising and celebrating our diversity enriches and strengthens our communities and creates a more equal Queensland where everyone is valued.

Events

An online calendar is now live for you to view a full list of events, search for a local event, or add your Queensland Women’s Week or International Women’s Day event.
With more than $150,000 in grants for Queensland Women’s Week activities yet to be announced, the calendar is sure to keep growing. Please check back regularly to find out what’s happening near you.

Promotional materials

A range of resources are now available to help you promote your Queensland Women’s Week celebration.

Download the poster and invitation templates, enter your details and print or email them to your invitees. You can download a certificate of appreciation to recognise the people you know who are promoting the interests of women and girls. Social media graphics are also available.

Free posters, stickers and ribbons are available to order. Check the Queensland Women’s Week order resources webpage for details and to place an order. Orders close Friday 28 February 2020.     If you are in a regional or remote area we recommend you order by Friday 21 February 2020 to allow for the longer delivery times.
